Nana with Seb and Isobel...

My Mum came to visit for the two weeks prior to our move. It was all pretty hectic packing and organising everything and I didn't get anywhere near as many photos as I wanted to. To top it all off, most if the photos I did take are now stuck on the old hard drive and I can't even get to them without paying a fortune to get them recovered. So these few snaps are all I have for now.

We were sitting outside on the deck enjoying the sunshine and My Mum had Seb and Isobel both cracking up with laughter while she pulled funny faces at them. It was fun and so lovely to have my Mummy with me sharing these moments with my kiddies. We've all been missing you Nana, come back soon!!!

This one is my favorite. Isobel really does love her Nana and gave her so many big happy smiles!

Beautiful sky....

I captured this beautiful sky from the front porch the other night. Neil and I had just put the kiddies to bed and sat down outside with a beer each. I almost couldn't be bothered but decided it was so pretty I had to run in for the camera and I'm glad I did. So pretty.

Baby Bel....

Look at this cheeky monkey! I LOVE these pictures! I just bought Isobel this special hand made quilt for her new room and wanted to take some pictures with the quilt as the background, she was obviously in a good mood and the pictures came out so nicely. My favorite has got to be this one above where she's poking out her little tongue! So cute!! I can't believe she's 5 months old already, she's such a sweet little girl, so calm and gentle (most of the time :) My little precious flower.

The new house...

Finally, here are a few pics of the new house. We've been in for a few weeks now and it's feeling more homely. There are still some things to be done and the odd cupboard door missing but it's looking pretty good to me.

Things have changed....

It's been so long and so much has changed since we last blogged. The biggest news is that dear Doogs has moved out. Big sigh....yes our beloved crazy pooch just became too much for us over recent months and he was suffering as a result. It was a difficult decision but we're sure it was the right one for all of us. We thought long and hard and after doing some research mananged to get in touch with a lovely lady from Lethbridge who was looking to adopt a Weimeraner. We have kept in touch with her and she has kindly updated us on Doog's new life. He's having a great time living with a Lab Husky cross called Charlie and spends his weekends out at a lake running around and even boating as seen above! Anyone who knew Doogs will know that he was a unique character, he'll always have a special place in our hearts and although we know he'll be far happier now, we'll always be a little sad that we couldn't have him live out his days with us.

We'll miss you Doogs! x

Is there anyone there?

If by any chance anyone is still checking this blog, don't worry we re still here. It's been a busy month or so and for most of it we haven't had a functioning computer. We're still not completely up and running and thanks to a broken hard dive I haven't been able to upload any pictures and this blog really isn't much without the pictures. Hopefully everything will be back to normal in the next few days and I can start posting again!
