Trip to the park...

Yesterday Seb and I spent the day with Rebekah and her girls. We walked over to their local playground and Sebastian had his first ever go on the swings! He loved it, especially all the attention he gets from from Hannah and Kenya!

Hannah and Kenya were trying to reach a squirrel that they spotted in this tree just behind their house. If you click on the photo for the larger view you can just about see it on the thinner branch to the right.

Mercedes has grown a lot since we last saw her and she's got lots more pretty blond hair. She's a cutie and I think Seb's in love!



We stayed for dinner and Seb had a try of some Mum Mum crackers, another first that seemed to go down very well.

The last couple of days...

Three generations of Ralston's...

Dale returned home yesterday, his month long visit seems to have flown by. It was a very quick goodbye at the airport, we only just made it there on time. We'd been sitting out on the deck relaxing in the hot weather (it reached 30 degrees!) and must have lost track of time. We'll be seeing him again in just a couple of months when we visit Malta so it's not too sad this time although I'm sure he'll miss seeing Seb every day. On Thursday Dale took us all out for dinner at the Keg. It was the first time Sebastian has been big enough for a high chair in a restaurant and he decided that he'd also like to have his own menu to read!

We had a really lovely dinner, thanks Dale!!

Blooming marvelous!

Finally things are warming up, the grass is green and everything seems summery and lovely! Over the last few days it's been warm and it's set to get even better! We took the opportunity to tidy up the garden and went all out and bought a load of plants and a couple of little trees. They look lovely but it definately looked like we had more in the back of the car than it looks in the garden! Sebastian helped pull up the grass as you can see above although his method of pulling it up in handful's was a little slower than Neil with his knife and shovel.

More fun with Grandad....

Sebastian and Dale are enjoying the sunny weather and have spent some time sitting out on the deck and taking some nice walks around the lake. It's all very tiring and I often catch them sneeking in a little nap now and then!

Seb the poser...

I had a little photo session with Sebastian the other morning and managed to get some really lovely pictures. I wanted to get some pictures of the little details like his beautiful eyelashes and his soft little feet. The light seemed to be just right and I am really pleased with the results! He's got to be the most photogenic person I've ever met!

Seb has perfect ears! they're just a little bit pointy like a pixie and they are totally soft and squishy just like his auntie Kate.

I have a bit of a fascination with his feet, they are so soft and his toes curl to grip things like a little monkey.

Look at those lovely lashes! I'm jealous!

This is the only photo I've ever taken that shows the true colour of Seb's eyes. They usually come out looking brown in photo's when in fact they are a real mix of brown, green and amber.
