October moments.....

This is my life. How lucky am I! Sure, in reality these moments aren't as perfect as they appear in photos. There are squabbles and falls and hurt feelings, loneliness and heartache. Things get broken, some get fixed, others do not. Through it all I'm feeling all the feelings, even the not so great ones, sitting with them and realizing that I'm having the time of my life.

Golden September days....

October has been and gone and it wasn't so bad but it's cold and dark now and the trees are bare. These photos remind me of those fleeting golden days of September. Those days when it's warm enough to play barefoot at the park and feel the fallen leaves crunch under your toes.
